Suggested uses included additional trees, fencing along the back of the new section, benches, and repairs to older headstones that have cracked or tilted.
The board expressed consensus support for creating a mechanism to accept memorial contributions and for coordinating with the cemetery sexton on repairs to older headstones. No formal vote was recorded; staff were instructed to accept donations designated for cemetery improvements and to work with the sexton and contractor as needed.
