Councilors noted coordination between the police department and RISE: the police department has a peer-to-peer counselor embedded to address mental-health and substance-use needs, and outreach court work led by Judge Vero interfaces with outreach and shelter services. Council members said they will provide additional updates at the next council meeting or through the mayor's office.
