Zoning subcommittee forwards special permit for proposed car wash at 350 Squire Road with conditions; chair recused

Attorney Jerry D'Ambrosio, representing New York Capital Investment Group LLC, presented a special-permit application for a proposed car wash at 350 Squire Road and told the Revere Zoning Subcommittee that the property has been a "blight" for nearly a decade and that the proposal would replace it with a modern facility.
"This parcel, everybody knows it. It's a current blight, on Squire Road," Attorney Jerry D'Ambrosio said. He described the project as a roughly $3,000,000 construction investment that, he said, would increase property tax revenue to the city. D'Ambrosio said the owners, Nir and Ronan Drury, operate about 25 similar facilities across the state and plan community involvement and local support services.
