Items approved included minutes of recent meetings, authorization to settle a damages claim for $33,000, a sponsorship request for the 2025 Fourth of July fireworks celebration, the town’s participation in the Clean California Community Pledge, a budget amendment for curb-and-gutter replacement projects, a contract award to develop a Municipal Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Master Plan, a contract amendment for the town surveyor services with Somas, acceptance of the financial status update for the period ended April 30, 2025, and authorization of purchasing authority with CDW Government.
Council member Henderson moved the consent calendar with a brief acknowledgement of community collaboration on the Clean California pledge; a colleague seconded the motion. The roll-call vote was unanimous among the four members present; one council member was absent.
Why it matters: the consent calendar actions advance several operational and capital activities, including settlement of a claim, public-event sponsorship, electric-vehicle infrastructure planning and street repairs. The unanimous vote cleared these routine items so staff can proceed with implementation.
