Craig also noted that the Metro Employees Credit Union has purchased a nearby lot (in the Stream Peace area southeast of Legacy) and is under construction; the credit union’s site is distinct from the Legacy footprint. Staff emphasized the project’s readiness to move into construction and asked council to consider the Gresham Smith contract modification and acceptance of HUD funds on the docket this week.
