The Poulsbo City Council approved Ordinance 2025‑07 on May 21, adopting first‑quarter amendments to the 2025‑26 biennial budget.
Deb (city staff) told the council the packet includes a memo listing five or six amendments that affect fund balances; the council opened the item for public comment but no members of the public spoke on the amendment item. After a motion to approve the ordinance, the mayor read the ordinance title and the council voted on the motion. Councilmembers who recorded "aye" included Eckert, Taberau, Crow, McVay, Newell and Stern.
Why it matters: The ordinance updates revenues and appropriations at the fund level to incorporate budget changes identified in the first quarter. Staff said the adjustments were intended to adopt changes previously approved at the fund level and to incorporate timing and one‑time items in the city’s budget. Council took no amendments on the floor.
