"What they're proposing is to reduce services on a lot of people that really need them so that they can fund a tax cut to the wealthy," a commissioner said, characterizing the federal proposal and urging the board to be ready for rapid advocacy opportunities. Staff said Larimer County was building a multi-county letter for congressional delegation offices and requested Clear Creek sign on; the board gave direction to staff to indicate support and follow Larimer County's process for final language.
No formal vote was recorded; the board gave staff direction to participate and to report back if language or scope changes were proposed.
