Crystal asked the board to approve joining the Equalis cooperative purchasing cooperative (no cost to join). She explained Equalis provides competitively bid master agreements from lead government agencies; any specific contract or piggyback would still be vetted and run through legal before adoption. The board approved electronic signature to join Equalis by motion and voice vote.
Crystal next requested approval of a change order with Teton West for the exhibit-hall project to pour a concrete pad for a propane tank as crews pour sidewalks; the change order amount presented was approximately $3,000, which the board approved by motion. Crystal said funding for the pad would come from the project budget.
She provided an update on vehicle procurements and an architectural-services item for roof work that may not require a full bid if estimated under $50,000; staff will return with final recommendations. Commissioners approved the actions and asked procurement to coordinate with departments on implementation steps and insurance changes as vehicles rotate on and off county insurance.
