Cincinnati Public Schools launches interactive asset, resource and safety maps

Cincinnati Public Schools on Oct. 20 launched a set of interactive online maps meant to make district resources, community partner locations and safety features more visible to families, staff and partners.
The maps went live during a district presentation led by Superintendent Murphy and Jeremy Golahue, the district staff member who demonstrated the new tool. Golahue said the maps are built on the Google Maps platform and that “this collection represents an exciting online interactive resource for our families, the community, our partners, and our staff.”
The nut of the project is to gather district assets — partners, CPS programs, school-level offerings and safety/transportation features — into selectable map layers. Golahue walked the board through four map…
