Council tables zoning overhaul, adopts easement ordinance and rejects scooter ordinance

Council President Robinette recognized Miss Phipps, who moved to table Ordinance 9308 until the Oct. 6 meeting. The motion was seconded (second not specified on the record). During a roll call led by the clerk Jody, councilmembers Harold, Hollenbaugh, Musgrave, O'Dorisio, Phipps, Robinette and Dennis voted “yes.” The motion carried and Ordinance 9308 was tabled.
Later, Miss Phipps moved to adopt Ordinance 9309, an ordinance accepting an easement from Pheasant Farms Homeowners Association for property at 0 Manitoba Drive (Parcel Number B08510140409017001). A second was recorded (not attributed). Councilmembers Hollenbaugh, Musgrave, O'Dorisio, Phipps, Robinette, Dennis and Harold voted yes; the ordinance was adopted.
Ordinance 9303, which had been previously tabled and concerns micromobility scooters, was taken off the table. Councilmember O'Dorisio moved to accept Ordinance 9303; another councilmember seconded the motion (second not attributed). During roll call, Musgrave, O'Dorisio, Phipps, Robinette, Dennis, Harold and Hollenbaugh each voted “no.” The motion failed and Ordinance 9303 was not adopted.
