City Clerk Maria read the consent items into the record: approval of the regular council meeting minutes for June 2, 2025; a bills memo totaling $966,415.86; a contractor services agreement with Advanced Pavement Marking of West Olive, Michigan for $52,824.30 for citywide pavement marking and striping; a lease agreement between the Grand Haven Spring Lake Sewer Authority and the City of Grand Haven for a city-owned public parking lot (contingent upon city attorney concurrence); and fiscal-year 2024–25 budget amendments across multiple funds (general fund, major and local streets, special revenue and public improvement funds).
Councilmember Fritz moved and a colleague seconded approval. During questions Councilmember Emily asked for clarification on DPW community promotion line items in the budget amendments; city staff explained those line items cover special-event services and seasonal staffing allocations split across many DPW functions. The council then called the roll; Fritz, Lowe, McLaughlin and Maneta voted yes.
The contracts and amendments were authorized as presented; the lease agreement was approved contingent on final review by the city attorney as noted in the consent item.
