Primary food vendor — The board awarded the primary food-vendor contract to Indian Head after a joint RFP process with New Prague Area Schools. The district received three bids and used an MDE scoring rubric. The winning contract is for one year with up to four additional one-year renewal options. Staff said staying in the joint contract gives the districts more buying power and should result in better pricing.
