The Town of Speedway Redevelopment Commission on Aug. 25 unanimously approved a package of resolutions, event agreements and project invoices, including amendments tied to a 2010 lease rental revenue bond and several items linked to the Al Unser Senior roundabout.

The commission voted 4-0 to: approve Resolution 2025-10, authorizing an MOU for site improvements at 1414 North Main Street and ending a prior parking/ outdoor seating agreement with Barbecue and Bourbon; approve Resolution 2025-11, an amendment to a lease related to the town's lease rental revenue bonds of 2010 that clarifies the clerk-treasurer's authority to make a full bond payment when anticipated federal subsidy payments are delayed; approve Resolution 2025-12, an event-space lease with IMS for the IMSA Street Fest on Sept. 18 allowing use of property at 1426 North Main Street (the annual fee increased under a consumer price index adjustment from $2,000 to $2,048); and approve Resolution 2025-13, ratifying an event-space license with Vision Event Management for an event held at 4735 West Sixteenth Street earlier in August.
