The board unanimously approved the July 1 agenda and the June 17 meeting minutes, accepted personnel action items and set two budget work sessions on Aug. 5 at 9 a.m. and Aug. 19 at 1 p.m. Commissioners voted to approve a series of licensing and contract items needed ahead of the county fair and ongoing operations.
Specific items approved included: - A $23,600 contract using opioid settlement funds to pay for Cellebrite Premium software for the East Central Drug and Violent Offenders Task Force. The software will be invoiced to the county and used for post‑mortem digital investigations of suspected opioid or illicit‑substance deaths. - A contract with Lighthouse Child and Family Services to provide community support and mental‑health services to underinsured or uninsured Isanti County residents using an annual Moose Lake grant allocation (contract amount: not specified; funding billed as services are needed). - A 2025 retail tobacco license for Pine Brook Restaurant and Bar covering the remainder of 2025 (license renewed through Dec. 31, 2025; reapplication required for 2026). - A two‑part recorder software/hosting arrangement moving record imaging into TriMin systems (one‑time image export fee of $8,000; annual hosting fee $17,000, to be paid from the recorder technology fund). - A temporary on‑sale intoxicating liquor license for the Isanti County Agricultural Society for the county fair (July 16–20); state approval remains final. - Utility permit approvals and the regular claims and warrants.
