District staff reported that after all retest opportunities this year 94% of third-grade students passed the iRead assessment, leaving nine students who did not pass. "All 9 of those students are English learners," the elementary assessments presenter said, adding that three of the nine are also in special education and that the remaining six scored at WIDA 1.5 or lower.
