Staffing for the program included 20 teachers, 17 paraeducators, two Department of Labor interns and one Northern State University intern, plus three administrative assistants to manage attendance and logistics. The district reported total program spending was approximately $62,500.
The program emphasized literacy (reading and writing) and math for K–5 EL students. The presenter said the downsizing was driven by available funding and described the staffing model that included interns and paraeducators to sustain service levels.
