- Change order, T.R. Jackson Pre-K kitchen renovations (Change Order No. 4) — approved unanimously. Amount: $44,341.61 for waterline revisions due to unforeseen conditions.
- Project status updates — board received progress reports on Soundside High School (field and stadium completed; interior finishes underway), TR Jackson Pre-K (mechanical and electrical work underway; dining room scheduled for turnover before school starts), Jay Elementary cafeteria renovation (dining room on track; kitchen work through December) and Wallace Lake K–8 window sealing work.
- Policy updates and related public hearings — the board conducted the public hearing and adopted a package of policy updates (including policies 2.22, 3.4, 3.68, 6.177, 7.7 and 8.44). - Budget and finance actions — the board authorized the advertisement of the tentative 2025–26 budget public hearing, approved the May 2025 budget amendment, approved May 2025 bills and payroll and approved the monthly financial statement for May 2025.
- Personnel and administrative actions — the board approved an administrative leave with pay pending investigation for a personnel case and appointed Joey Goodwin as assistant principal at Holley-Navarre Middle School (approved unanimously). The district also approved its instructional, administrative and educational support evaluation systems.
- Other approvals — contracts and agreements (including a contract with Workforce Escarosa), owner direct purchase orders and the mental-health allocation application (mental health assistance allocation) were approved as presented.
