Terry Green, chair of the Marin City CSD, said a complaint regarding the former director's residency had been filed with elections officials and asked the board either to wait for the investigation or to call a special election. Supervisor Milton Peters moved to appoint Sarah Kansan; Supervisor Lukin seconded. The board adopted the appointment by voice vote. In remarks after the vote, Supervisor Milton Peters cited Kansan's Housing Authority board experience and described her as having the collaborative record the CSD needs.
