Trustee Nancy suggested the district and the clinic promote Dr. Coker’s in-person schedule through flyers and local outlets in addition to social media, noting that not all residents use Facebook. The chair said staff would contact Dr. Coker to confirm the recurring Tuesday schedule before issuing public notices.
The board also heard that an update from SIXCO related to the HRSA grant had been circulated to trustees; no SIXCO representative appeared online for the meeting and the trustees said they will follow up with district staff. Trustees removed one agenda item earlier in the meeting because a related contract was not yet available.
No formal action was taken on clinic operations during the meeting; trustees discussed outreach options and agreed staff should confirm the schedule and coordinate promotional material with Frontier Medical Group.
