Tony, representing the facilities division, said the city piggybacks off the cooperative and that the initial term runs through December with four one-year renewal options. “It really isn't a budget impact because the city… our operating budget already has money in it for all these things,” Tony said.
Committee members asked whether the reported $975,000 represented a per‑year cost or the total contract amount; staff clarified the $975,000 figure reflects the initial term plus the renewal structure (approximately 4.5 years in total).
A motion to recommend council approval of the municipal addendum to PCA OD41424 to Q4 Industries LLC in the amount of $975,000 passed 6-0.
