Public Works Director Prowse told the commission the lift station is experiencing wet-well deterioration and electrical-component issues; the task order will evaluate existing conditions, consider a vapor wall and other interior improvements, and provide an estimated upgrade scope and cost. The task order is a time-and-materials deliverable with a not-to-exceed cost of $42,200. Public works and engineering staff recommended approval.
Commissioner Frederick moved to approve the task order; Commissioner Bair seconded. The commission voted aye and the motion carried.
City staff said the task order will return recommendations and cost estimates to help determine the scope of construction work required to restore and modernize Lift Station No. 7.
