The Meridian City Council unanimously approved Resolution No. 25‑2526 on July 15, adopting updated fees for the Home Court facility and fall adult sports leagues.
Parks staffer Garrett White told council the department sought feedback after publishing the proposed fee schedule and posting notice at Home Court; the primary response from participants and users was that fee increases were expected because rates had not been raised in nine to ten years.
Council thanked parks staff for outreach and responsiveness. The resolution was moved by Councilman Whitlock, seconded and adopted with a unanimous roll call.
With adoption, the Parks and Recreation Department will implement the updated Home Court rates and amended fall adult sports fees for fall volleyball and basketball; staff said they will finalize administrative details and proceed with published schedules.
