Council extends two-year agreement for ScottFest; reminds residents of National Night Out dates

Councilor Justin Green said the city extended the two-year contract and that construction at Events Park necessitated holding this year’s festival downtown behind Central Park in the Rose District. "This year, it will be held right back downtown in the Rose District behind our Central Park. Next year, the hope is to get it to return back out to Events Park where it has been held before," Green said.
The council described ScottFest as a multi-year community event featuring Scottish culture, food and music and said the extension preserves the festival’s presence in Broken Arrow. The transcript does not record the contract value, specific operational conditions, or a vote tally.
