Stafford council discusses interim public works leadership and street repairs as resident raises concerns

A resident raised public comment about street repairs on World Away, asking who decides when streets are repaired and when decisions are made. Council members said a number of issues are being prepared as memos for the July 16 agenda, and staff will present those items to the council. One council member confirmed the interim public works superintendent is preparing memos to bring to council for action.
Council described temporary measures and named division heads stepping up to assist residents while the search for permanent leadership continues. No formal appointment or vote to change leadership was recorded at the July 2 meeting.
