Henry County supervisors approve range of contracts, appropriations and appointments; public hearing set on two solar siting agreements

The Henry County Board of Supervisors on June 24 approved a series of contracts, appropriations, and appointments and set a public hearing on proposed solar siting agreements.

The board voted 5-0, with one member (Jennifer) absent, to: award multiple county contracts; appropriate federal, state and local grant funding; approve categorical transfers for school projects; fund the removal or securing of approximately 45 unsafe structures; and set a public hearing on two proposed solar siting agreements.
