Griffin Lee, representing Connected SF and speaking as a resident, voiced strong support for the ordinance and cited what he characterized as transfers between organizations and lobbying by groups that contract with city agencies. He urged the committee to outline tracking and accountability mechanisms for fund flows. No other public speakers testified on the item.
After public comment, the committee approved a motion to continue the ordinance to the call of the chair. Vice Chair Cheryl, President Rafael Mandelman and Chair Shamann Walton voted "aye," and the motion passed without objection.
