The Madison Plan Commission on July 7 approved the consent agenda unanimously, advancing a set of applications staff recommended for approval with standard conditions. The items approved on consent included several conditional uses, certified survey maps and a zoning assignment.
Items on the consent agenda included multiple Legistar entries: item 2 (transportation project amendments in Alder Districts 9 and 11), item 3 (conditional uses related to 2438–2462 Atwood Avenue for a crypt addition at Saint Bernard of Clervaux Cathedral, in Alder District 15), item 4 (certified survey map for parcels at 1626 and 1634 Baker Avenue, Alder District 19), item 5 (zoning assignment for 60 White Oaks Lane, Alder District 20), items 8 and 9 (conditional use and CSM for 709 Northport Drive, Alder District 18), and items 10 and 11 (conditional uses and CSMs for properties at 2222–2304 City View Drive, Alder District 17).
Director Megan Tuttle read the items into the record, the chair opened and immediately closed the public hearing on those items, and the commission approved the consent package by unanimous voice vote after a motion and second from commissioners on the dais. No registrants opposed the consent items during the record.
Because the items were approved on consent, staff will proceed with the standard conditions and subsequent review steps (e.g., council consideration for rezoning matters, recording certified survey maps, and permit processing) as applicable.
