Grove City Council approved two land-use items on Monday: Ordinance C18-25, allowing an indoor children’s play facility (Kids Dig It LLC) at 3454 Grama Avenue, and Ordinance C23-25, accepting the plat for Pinnacle Quarry Section 4 (lots 19–41 and 51–63).
For the indoor play facility, applicant Sarah King, who identified herself as the owner, told council she plans to open a business aimed at providing an indoor play option for younger children in the city’s southern area. Planning Commission recommended approval on May 6, 2025. Council held the second reading and public hearing and approved the ordinance; councilmembers welcomed the business to Grove City.
For the Pinnacle Quarry Section 4 plat, applicant Alex Benson (2926 Badger Drive) spoke briefly and offered to answer questions. Council conducted a second reading and public hearing and approved acceptance of the subdivision plat. Both matters received limited public comment and passed on second reading.
