At the City of Rockwall’s July 7 meeting, resident Nancy Dangston told the council that a neighboring property at 2790 Beacon Hill has been a persistent health and safety concern for years and that the city’s failure to resolve the condition has lowered her property’s market value.
Dangston described multiple problems at the adjacent house, including an inoperable HVAC system since February 2022, persistent trash and a full-size refrigerator in the yard, overgrown vines she identified as poison ivy, dead trees and rodent problems.
