"This starts the process," Gay said. He described the delivery method as an opportunity to meet project time frames and offered Vanner Construction as an available resource to speak to timelines and the delivery approach.
Board members had no substantive changes to the staff recommendation. A motion by Supervisor Escobar, seconded by Supervisor Cardenas Singh, carried. Gay said the county will use the documents to begin the request‑for‑qualifications and that behavioral health staff and contractor representatives are available to provide further details as the procurement proceeds.
