Baldwin County Commission establishes America 250 committee to coordinate 2026 events

The Baldwin County Commission voted unanimously to create a Baldwin County America 250 Committee to coordinate local events tied to the nation’s 250th anniversary. Commissioners adopted a resolution establishing the committee and named five members; the committee’s term will expire July 4, 2026.

County staff said the committee’s responsibilities will include tracking federal and state America 250 initiatives, advising and coordinating with local organizations, and helping to promote events across the county.
