Superintendent Doctor Smith introduced Keisha Edwards and Delise Hardy following the board vote. Edwards, described by the superintendent as having more than two decades of experience in public education and background in instructional leadership and special education, addressed the board and thanked mentors and family. Hardy, introduced as having nearly 25 years in public education with experience in bilingual education and as director of world languages, also spoke briefly and thanked mentors and colleagues.
Board action: Trustee Mike moved to ratify the appointments; Trustee Haines seconded. The board clerk recorded all trustees voting in the affirmative and the motion carried 7–0.
Context: The vote followed a closed‑session discussion; the district announced that both administrators will be celebrated at a reception and will assume duties according to district processes.
