Teachers’ union says MOU submitted to attorneys after five months of collaboration

The Dickson County Education Association (DCEA) told the board its memorandum of understanding with district representatives is finished and under legal review.
"After 5 months of collaboration, the MOU is officially finished and has been submitted to attorneys for review," said Miss Hope representing the DCEA. She thanked teachers who participated in surveys and district members who took part in negotiations and said the final MOU should be returned to the board for approval soon.
Board members acknowledged receipt of the update and the DCEA representative said the completed document will be shared with the board once attorney review is complete.
