Jessica Lounsbury, a resident, told the council during public comment that “pickleball is a fun, low impact sport that combines elements of tennis, ping pong, and badminton … It’s the fastest growing sport, and there’s a shortage of courts.” Multiple residents, including Charles Spaulding and Lynn Cole, also urged the town to build courts.
