The Norwood Historical Commission voted unanimously to ask the board of selectmen (and the Morse House committee where applicable) to initiate the process for exterior preservation work on the George H. Moss (Morse) House. Commissioners said the project was initiated by the commission previously but that the board of selectmen and the Morse House committee should formally request and carry forward the work.
Chair Judith Howard explained past steps and recommended asking the appropriate town entities to take administrative lead on the CPA request and project execution. The commission recorded unanimous approval of the motion and will follow up with email communication to the board of selectmen and coordination with town staff.
Commissioners discussed that the request will be routed through appropriate town channels and that further details and documentation will be provided to the selectmen and project partners for scheduling and funding considerations.
