Staff named Jared and Caleb as the contractors/staff who have overseen identification and removal of hazardous trees using GIS overlays; work began with the most hazardous trees and has moved to routine maintenance and median cleanup.
Other notes: Parks & Rec reported that the C.D. Franklin playground (complete replacement) was on its project list. Commissioners said Parks & Rec's final adopted budget left Parks & Rec whole after amendments to the city budget; staff indicated they would supply details on contracts and maintenance arrangements at a later date.
No formal action was taken at this meeting on any of these items; commissioners directed staff to follow up with Parks & Rec and with the ordinance text for greenways and scooter restrictions.
