Board conveys easements to Southwest Gas, accepts $1,500 Shane McConkey Foundation award

Chief Business Officer Todd Rivera explained this was the second step in a process that began with a prior resolution of intent; the board opened and closed a public hearing with no speaker comments and then approved the conveyance by motion and recorded voice vote.
After that item the board accepted a $1,500 award from the Shane McConkey Foundation to Glenshire Elementary for second place in the foundation’s Eco Challenge Blue Square category. Trustees thanked the foundation and moved to accept the donation; the board approved the acceptance by voice vote.
Both items were presented as action items with no public opposition during the hearing and comment periods.
