Kootenai County commissioners on June 24 approved a package of routine contracts, grant applications and payables that included $100,000 in state pass-through funds for clinician services at the juvenile detention center, extensions of airport facility agreements for fire season use, approval of payables totaling $3,241,950.64 and several administrative items.
Pass-through clinician funds Director Eric Sheffield asked the board to approve the county's annual clinician program agreement with the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections. "Approving this agreement will provide $100,000 in state funds to financially support clinician services for the juvenile detention center," Sheffield said. Legal review was completed, and the board approved the agreement by recorded vote.
