An unnamed county staff member told commissioners the county currently relies on a staff member who has taken over the control room and that the proposed training would cover the county director of information technology and the operator who now runs the equipment. The staff member said the total cost for vendor training is $735 and that the expense would ensure meetings can be broadcast without interruption.
After describing a morning reboot and camera non‑response the staff member said, "So if there's no objection, I will go ahead and get that stuff scheduled." Commissioners signaled agreement to proceed with the scheduling and asked staff to bring the formal contract or signature item to the business meeting for execution.
No formal procurement vote was recorded at the status meeting; the board directed staff to schedule the vendor training and to present the purchase documentation at the upcoming business meeting.
