On the RV matter, council members clarified that the town’s code permits short-term RV use during construction but that the permitting path differs by zone: in residential zones the zoning administrator may grant the permit but in commercial zones it must be handled by the planning commission. Council directed staff to place a formal RV-permit item on the planning commission agenda for July so the commissioners can consider whether the RV use during construction is allowable under the code.
Council members said staff had already visited both properties and that the flag was expected to be removed within days. The council did not levy fines or take immediate removal action during the meeting but confirmed the formal complaint and enforcement process would continue if the property owners failed to comply.
