The City of Jonesboro Metropolitan Area Planning Commission granted final subdivision approval for Farmer Hills, a three-lot subdivision on 10.03 acres in the C3 (general commercial) zone west of 3501 Southwest Drive.
John Easley of Associated Engineering spoke for Farmer Enterprises, saying infrastructure, drainage and streets are complete and the subdivision is ready to enter a maintenance period. City planning staff reported the subdivision was built according to the approved plan and recommended final approval.
Commissioners moved and seconded approval; the measure passed by voice vote. The transcript does not record the names of the mover or seconder or a roll-call tally. The city planner noted that the subdivision, having been constructed per the approved plans, will enter the maintenance period consistent with engineering approval.
The staff recommendation included that the site satisfy all city engineer requirements, conform to the current stormwater drainage design manual, and meet flood-plain regulations for any new construction. Any future redevelopment or change of use will be subject to planning-department review and approval.
No amendments or conditions beyond the standard engineering and stormwater stipulations were recorded on the public transcript.
