PTEA announces tentative contract ratified; district to place ratified agreement on July agenda

The read statement said, "The PTE is pleased to share the tentative contract agreement that was reached with the Phoenix talent schools on June 6. [It] was ratified by our membership on the last day of the school year, and we look forward to this new contract starting July 1." The reader added appreciation for the long hours both teams invested to reach the deal.
District leaders later told the board that administrators and PTEA negotiators worked late into the night on the June agreement and that the negotiated contract will appear as an action item at the July board meeting for formal board approval.
