County invests in ArcGIS, hires staff to update 9-1-1 data and rebuild GIS capacity

“This is the first time the department’s been fully staffed in a number of years,” a commissioner reported, and the board thanked Erica for moving the software procurement and staffing forward. Commissioners encouraged colleagues to contact Erica with questions about GIS projects or data that may affect departmental operations.
