Vince, the county's Road and Bridge supervisor, told the Board on June 19 that a diesel dispenser at a county fuel tank has been leaking where a hose connects to the pump and will require four test holes and repair work that will delay completion of related work by about 30 days.
"We gotta have 4 test holes drilled. It's cost between $7,500 and $10,000 just to punch these holes," Vince told commissioners during his report. He said the repair timeline and state environmental review are causing the schedule slip and noted the county is coordinating with environmental staff.
