Superintendent Jeff Anderson and board members reviewed an overhaul of the 2008 policy; Anderson told the board the draft is the result of committees, surveys (nearly 3,000 respondents), and administrative review. The proposed policy separates rules by school level and allows teachers and administrators to authorize device use in limited circumstances such as emergencies.
