Montgomery County coroner’s office receives national accreditation, officials say

Darby said accreditation strengthens grant competitiveness, boosts employee morale and recognizes professional work performed in a new state‑of‑the‑art facility. The coroner introduced senior leadership staff in the room and invited commissioners and the public to visit the facility.
Commissioners congratulated Darby and her team. One commissioner said it was the first time the county coroner’s office had achieved that accreditation and praised the office’s professionalization and community outreach.
