Queen Creek Unified District board approves amendment to superintendent’s contract to correct scrivener’s error

The Queen Creek Unified District board approved an amendment to the superintendent’s contract covering fiscal years 2025 through 2028 to correct a scrivener’s error, board members said at the meeting.

A board member moved to approve the amendment and another board member seconded the motion; the chair called for the vote and two “Aye” responses were recorded, after which the motion was declared approved.

The board listed July calendar events including offices closed in July, new-teacher orientation July 14–15, the Mountain Trail Academy ribbon-cutting and teachers’ report on July 16, and the first day of school on July 21.
