McCormick also presented an appropriation request from the coroner totaling $44,733 for an unexpected retirement payout and said Common Pleas requested approximately $165,000 to cover costs related to a capital case. The area court sought $20,000 more in the indigent driver alcohol monitoring fund.
On procurement, McCormick said there were three requisitions this morning over $25,000 totaling $195,133.79; no change orders were presented. McCormick recommended approval of the agenda items.
The commissioners moved to approve the finance agenda items, and the motion passed on a unanimous roll‑call vote recorded in the transcript.
