Board extends contract for drug-court development as county readies first drug court this summer

Commissioner Berg moved to approve the contract extension and Commissioner Smith seconded; the board voted in favor. County staff credited consultant Sid Wyford and court partner Carrie Minkie with assisting the court system in the development process. "Our first drug court will take place later this summer, and it's through the work of our consultant, Miss Sid Wyford, and also with the assistance of Miss Carrie Minkie," staff told the board.
