Planning Commission approves Honan Street consolidation; tables senior-housing plan

SilverCare tabling: The SilverCare senior-housing preliminary final plan was discussed at length; the applicant described a two-phase conversion of the existing building to 94 units and said funding for phase two is pending. City staff and the city engineer recommended tabling so outstanding items — including fire-marshal comments, stormwater and utility will-serve documentation, and more detailed landscape/sidewalk plans — can be addressed. The commission voted to table the application pending those revisions.
